This is just a poem I wrote at school that I quite liked.
A carpet of red,
A scattering of golden wings,
twirling as it falls,
Happy to release its cling.
Children giggle and kick,
Jumping about,
They play, and when they have finished raking,
They give a might HOORAY!
Ladybugs squirm,
They flutter,
And they twirl,
Through the gorgeous amber pile,
In the autumn afternoon.
